The game is simple to learn—replace one letter at a time on any of the three words from the letters stacked up on the right.

Using the illustration here…

• Select the M and make CHASE into CHASM,

• then take the E and turn WORD into WORE,

• and then use the O to make TOE from THE,

• and then TOE could be TEE with the second E.
